Welcome to Visions Unlimited Academy

Ms. Marie Maeser
August 2, 2010

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Hello and welcome to a wonderful new school year… My name is Marie Maeser and I would like to share with you a little bit about me. I am a single mother of an 18 year old (Jeremy), who is leaving soon for the Army. I am an Army Brat myself and have a long line of Military family. I am the middle child of 5 and through that have learned a great deal of patience, flexibility and perseverance. I graduated from U of A and Helen Keller Institute where I received a degree in education and Deaf/Blind intervention. I taught at Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind (ASDB) for 15 years. I am fluent in American Sign Language and a communication intervener. At ASDB I learned so much from each child as they taught me so much about individuality. My goal is to help your child reach and know their potential and achieve their dreams.

Daily schedule starts with Math, Word Study, Lunch, Reading, Social Studies, Science and Recap on daily activities. Please provide you child with a healthy lunch and please send water bottles. We are in our hottest part of the year.

As you may know school budgets are tight and we appreciate any donations for supplies you can offer. The supplies needed are:

Kleenex, loose leaf paper, spiral notebooks, composition books, crayons, glue or construction paper.

I look forward to meeting you and your children on our open house, Friday, August 6th from 6-7:30pm.

This is going to a great year!

Best Wishes,

Marie Maeser
